Site FAQ

Friday, February 16, 2007

I'm looking for a cheap rate at Hotel X on a certain date. Can you tell me the best deal?

This site is intended to provide you with information you will need to find the best deal possible, but we don't have the time or necessary resources to do your research for you. Sorry, but we won't respond to requests for vacation planning advice of that nature.

Not sure where to sure where to start? If you're looking for a specific hotel, use the links on the right sidebar under "Deals By Hotel", or search by name using the Google search box in the upper right of the page. If you want to find deals for a specific date, try typing the month and year in the search box (i.e. April 2008).

I can't find that deal you wrote about...are you sure it works?

Before adding a deal to the site, we verify that it is currently valid over the phone or internet. However, hotels may change their discounts without notice. If we become aware that an offer has changed, we will try to update the entry to reflect that, but no promises.

Also, be sure to read the fine print on the offer, which will usually appear on the hotel website in a teeny-tiny font. There may be a minimum stay or other requirements that you need to meet in order to take advantage of a particular promotion.

What hotels do you recommend?

We always stay on the Strip, and you'll usually find us at the Paris (for nostalgia reasons, as we were married there), MGM Grand (in the West Wing- that Strip entrance is so convenient and the beds are uber-comfy), or New York, New York (because their themed casino decor is fab).

If you're looking for hotel reviews, we recommend Trip Advisor.
